How Mikud.AI uses artificial intelligence · Effective October 10, 2026 · Version 1.0
Mikud.AI incorporates AI into a process in which you review and decide. This page explains what AI does, where it may make mistakes, and how we work to reduce errors.
1. What AI does in the service
| Role | What it does | What it does not do |
|---|---|---|
| Mentor | Provides concise answers, asks a question, and suggests a next step | Does not change your data or ratings |
| Competitor research | Searches the web, suggests competitors and alternatives, and provides sources | Does not approve a competitor. You review and decide |
| Summary | Drafts a summary and possible follow-up checks | Does not recommend whether to proceed or stop |
The AI provider is OpenAI. The specific models may change over time.
2. Where AI may make mistakes
- Suggesting an irrelevant company or missing an important competitor.
- Relying on outdated information or companies’ marketing claims.
- Using inaccurate wording, especially for specialist terms or Hebrew.
- Returning different results on repeated runs for the same idea.
3. How we work to reduce errors
1. A competitor is added only when a source was actually retrieved during that run. Suggestions without such a source are automatically rejected. 2. Competitors you already knew about, or that are already in the project, are not presented again as new. 3. Your rating is stored separately from the AI assessment, and the system never changes your rating. 4. “Unknown” remains missing information, rather than becoming a low score. 5. The AI provider receives only the minimum necessary information, as described in the Privacy Policy. 6. Usage and budget limits prevent uncontrolled runs.
4. What you should do
- Open each competitor’s source before relying on it.
- Remember that a statement on a company’s website is the company’s claim, not a verified fact.
- Do not enter personal information about other people or secrets unnecessary for the research.
- Treat outputs as working material, not professional advice.
5. Your decision
Mikud.AI does not decide whether your idea is good or whether you should proceed. Competitor research does not test demand, willingness to pay, or financial viability. The Go/No-Go decision remains yours.
6. Third-party content
